I am still on my journey through the State of California. I was unable to post a report yesterday, Thursday 9/10. Today I have been traveling quite a bit and have had little time to write. Will have more to say later.
Highway 1 is a great bike ride. Especially the camping at California State parks. In 2006 only $3 per person per night. Talk about incentives for healthy lifestyles. I enjoyed that bike trip in 06 and a similar one in 03. This year, I rode around Washington State, basically. Still on my bicycle.
If that's the Coast Highway, then I remember it well! When I lived in LA (back in the 60's), one of my favorite things to do was drive from L.A. to San Diego and back -- especially on a moonlit night.
California is a great place to be if you are a locksmith. There are more locks and gates out here than where I live in the Mid-west. Whether a home or business, gates and locks is the culture.
Watch for the movement of the earth while there and enjoy yourself.
ReplyDeleteThe earth isn't moving right now.
ReplyDeleteContinuing to do economic research.
Things look good in Santa Barbara.
Enjoy the sun!
