Four people, of which two were non government, where there to discuss the validity of Bernacke getting the Man of the Year award. It was interesting as to how the two politicians owned up to nothing of the responsiblity of the collapse. I guess, if anything, they somewhat applauded him for his effort but with some blame. Frank and Paul differ in some of their opinions, like a lot, but not when they hold no regard for their own blame.

They kept mentioning policy and responsibility, and your favorite, regulations. It was either, in their opinions, Bernacke's responsibility to set the rules of regulation or de-regulation and how he so masterly got around the obsticals to save the country.

I have said this before, and I know it goes against your grain, but Ben is not my hero in the financial mess. I do not know that there is a hero yet. I do agree with your opinion on Volcker and after your note that he has not been interview (don't understand how he can or cannot be)allowed to be interviewed, I went on to the Larry King site and posted a suggestion of having him on and that he hasn't been seen. I believe I will do this to ALL the medias to see if one will take the interest. If what you say is true, he isn't allowed or the media is like Fox, too one sided then they too will not 'rock the boat' per se. Maybe it's just Paul who doesn't want to be interviewed. That too would be sad.Butchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01617356024199023401noreply@blogger.com
