I must admit, that I to some extent, live in a cave despite the many hours I sit in front of my TV watching the news. But, all I need to do to remove myself from the comfort of my cave is to go onto Facebook and read the filth that is written about our President. Being retired and not associating with a good cross sampling of the population, I live in my little cave and don't hear the racist talk that is aimed at President Obama. In many ways, there are people around today that would have fit right in with the racists of the 40s, 50s and 60s. The person that came up with the phrase "post racial society" is an idiot or living like me in a cave.
Retired after working with investment securities and portfolios for over 35 years. My interest in politics, history and the economy will provide a jump off for moneythoughts. From time to time I will post pieces of my artwork. I call my artwork political satire and I welcome your comments. I am available to speak or write economic commentary for money managers, brokerage firms or anyone else that thinks my ideas offer something worth while.
