The primer coat and sanding is done. The underpainting begins. Using red oxide by GOLDEN. Not sure about what to put on the inside of the 2 doors, but I have some of it resolved. More updates later.
Hi Fred, I am nearly back to normal over here in revaged Queensland. I am one of the lucky ones. The internet was restored only last weekend. Now I can work on my own computer in the comfort of my own home.
So, I have caught up with your altar piece project, which is looking like it will be fantastic. I like the butterfly type image on the front. It gives the altar piece a feeling that it could fly. I look forward to seeing the project unfold. Cheers, Kathryn
Retired after working with investment securities and portfolios for over 35 years. My interest in politics, history and the economy will provide a jump off for moneythoughts. From time to time I will post pieces of my artwork. I call my artwork political satire and I welcome your comments. I am available to speak or write economic commentary for money managers, brokerage firms or anyone else that thinks my ideas offer something worth while.
