Good Friday 2008
As the stock market is closed for Good Friday, I thought I would give it a rest and instead of writing about the economy or the financial markets, I would post a painting. The painting is acrylic on a paper envelope 12" x 9" and is from The Envelope Collection. The painting is titled Popular Messiah, and was painted in 2007.

Interesting. Why shades of green? Money?
Very nice acrylic work Money. To answer the above comment I would think the flag in shades of green represents the capitalistic nature of America. That is my take. Anyways thank you for stopping by my blog. Please feel free to post there, but I am an amateur on economics and your analysis is very very welcomed. I actually just posted one about the Sub Prime. I would love for you to critique it for me since it deals so much with securities and hedge funds.
As for being from the South I resent black leaders like Jeremiah Wright. I do not have black friends, I have black members of my family. What I mean by that is not people who are related to me by blood, but people whom I trust like we share commmon genes. Wright and his type know nothing of the everyday plight of blacks in the inner city. All they do is profit from these people's misery and that angers me. This was not an admonishment of the black community but the core of it's most notable leadership. Again thank you for posting and your painting shows some talent.
