Saturday Is For Art: Simeon Zigler's Art Continued

Here are three pieces in watercolor that are not in the art exhibit of Simeon Zigler's artwork at the Skirball Museum. While these three pieces are a bit different and would have shown another dimension of his work, space was a real factor that limited what could be seen.

I really like the third picture. I know it tells a story of another time, or at least that is what you would think. I follow a blogger from Romania that is a photographer. Some of his pics or of the people of the area and they have not advanced in time, or so it would seem. Go here and look through his work. Somewhere in his May postings are pics of a woman in her home. Look at here surroundings that she lives with today. The still use horse/mule pulled single axle carts to transport stuff.

Like I said, this picture says soooo much. I believe I would have really liked to have known your father. I'm sure there would have been some interesting conversations and stories.
