Saturday Is For Art: Simeon Zigler's Art Continued

Here are three pieces in watercolor that are not in the art exhibit of Simeon Zigler's artwork at the Skirball Museum. While these three pieces are a bit different and would have shown another dimension of his work, space was a real factor that limited what could be seen.

I really like the third picture. I know it tells a story of another time, or at least that is what you would think. I follow a blogger from Romania that is a photographer. Some of his pics or of the people of the area and they have not advanced in time, or so it would seem. Go here http://adypetrisor.blogspot.com/ and look through his work. Somewhere in his May postings are pics of a woman in her home. Look at here surroundings that she lives with today. The still use horse/mule pulled single axle carts to transport stuff.

Like I said, this picture says soooo much. I believe I would have really liked to have known your father. I'm sure there would have been some interesting conversations and stories.
