Chicago Is A Great City

Chicago is a great city if you love to walk and look at architecture. That is exactly what I and my friend Stert have been doing since we arrived. We walked down to the Chicago Art Institute on Sunday and walked around the museum a for a few hours checking out their collection of paintings. They have some of the best paintings in the world, and the price of admission in February is free. While I have been there several times, It is always nice to take it all in again. If you love seeing some of the great paintings of world, then you don't want to miss visiting the Chicago Art Institute.

Stay tuned.

I envy you! I LOVED Chicago, Lou showed me some beautiful places. The architecture is amazing, and there is so much art. It's on the streets, it's just everywhere. Have fun Fred!

Jientje, I am sorry I could not make it up to Chicago when you were here. I had a great time walking around the city and I especially enjoyed the time I spent at the Art Institute.

Now I have to get back to solving the economic problems of the USA. : )

To me, quality of life is the best "bottom line" for an economy. When the economy can be measured in time for walks, bike rides, talks, friends, reading and learning, economists are closer to the right track.
