They take my breath away!

Have you started painting them yet?

Thank you for the pics -- they do feed the heart and soul with their beauty.

Happy Day!

No, haven't started the actual painting, but I am preparing "canvases". Four of the paintings will be held by old wood windows. The glass has been replaced with 1/2 inch MDO plywood. The next step is to gesso all the "canvases". Getting lots of good ideas from the photos.

Interesting idea. Sunflowers are rustic, and what better (or more appropriate) frames than old wooden windows?

Look forward to seeing them when they're ready to show.

Look how big they've grown!
In only a few weeks, from closed buds to these beauties! Not a green thumb? Hmmmm.
By the way, in reply to the comment you left on my blog, why on earth would CIA want to close it down?
;-) That's what I'd like to know? ;-)

We, in America, blame everything we can't explain or logically understand on our CIA. You might think of it as a game we play over here.

In the 1960's, there was an expression that went something like this: Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they are not really after you. Back then it was said about the FBI.

Aaaah, thanks for the explanation!
